Puffenbarger Insurance and Financial Services, Inc. is looking for Property & Casualty Licensed Producers with a proven track record. The territory would be Prince William County, Fauquier County, and the Northern Virginia area.


The ideal candidate will provide consultative selling techniques to counsel and provide advice on protection and coverage options based on the customer's unique insurance and financial needs and goals. You will also develop strategies to secure new accounts within defined market segments and territories through individual effort and established lead methods.


Property & Casualty Insurance Sales Producer Requirements


1-2 years insurance industry experience preferred

Property & Casualty license required

Experience working with business owners a plus

Must pass criminal background check

Insurance Sales background preferred

Interest in marketing insurance products and services based on customer needs

Enthusiastic about the role that insurance and financial products play in member’s everyday lives

Should have effective presentation skills through both verbal and written communications

Must be aggressive/assertive, a self-starter, and able to influence others

Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening

Must have excellent interpersonal skills

Property & Casualty Insurance Inside Sales Responsibilities


Primarily remains in office to field passive and warm leads, up sell existing clients, and utilize your prospecting techniques to build new business

Maintains effective customer relationships, understands customer's business and requirements and matches them with appropriate product and service offerings.

Establish client relationships and follow up with customers

Be supported by our Customer Service staff to assist you and your clients

Explain insurance products & services and recommend appropriate coverage based on analysis of prospect’s circumstances

Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day

We are offering an opportunity for you to provide home and auto insurance. We rely on you to convert provided prospects and prospects you bring in on your own into customers, then create and maintain lasting relationships.


Positive and proactive communication with prospects, underwriters, and internal staff are paramount. You will be creating your own book of business, supported by account managers and customer service representatives throughout the life of the customer. Compensation is monthly guarantee and commissions; details will be explained at the first interview. You also have the ability to generate personal production outside the agency.


Successful candidates will be willing and capable of learning and adapting to new products, and willing to refer customers internally to other business lines.




Guaranteed base pay plus generous commissions
