SPECTRUM Physical Therapy Culpeper Has Moved
CULPEPER, VA (March 19, 2018) – Spectrum Physical Therapy announces the move of its Culpeper clinic to 16260 Bennett Road, Culpeper, VA 22701 on March 5, 2018. Appointments can be made by calling 540-727-0737. SPECTRUM Physical Therapy has provided out-patient rehabilitation services in Culpeper since 2016, and Central Virginia since 1989.
SPECTRUM Physical Therapy is a part of the Ivy Rehab Network.
Jaclyn Caddy-Tanner, Physical Therapist (PT), DPT and Clinic Director, will provide out-patient physical therapy care, and Kim Thruston, Occupational Therapist (OT) and Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), will provide Hand Therapy services there.
Jaclyn has been practicing in the field of outpatient physical therapy for over 15 years. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh and then went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. Upon graduation, Jaclyn began practicing in the field of outpatient physical therapy and has been a clinic manager for over 10 years. In 2009, she decided to return to post graduate school and achieved the distinguished Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital, Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA in 2010. Throughout her career, her interest in orthopedics has continued to grow and she continues to attend courses, striving to learn the latest, evidence-based treatment techniques to apply with her clientele. In 2015, Jaclyn became board certified in orthopedics (OCS). In 2016, Jaclyn became certified in Level 1, Dry Needling through Kinetacore. Jaclyn is married and she and her husband, Jarrod live in Culpeper with their Labrador retriever, Baylee.
Kim Thruston, MOT, OTR/L, CHT has practiced Occupational Therapy since 1999, primarily with out-patient orthopedic and neurological disorders. She has worked with SPECTRUM Therapy since 2016. Kim specializes in the treatment of hand and upper extremity injuries to include post-surgical conditions, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS), Tennis Elbow, sports medicine injuries and arthritic conditions of the hand. She also fabricates custom splints for the hand, fingers, thumb, wrist and elbow.
The SPECTRUM Therapy Culpeper clinic offers treatment for a variety of movement impairments and conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, workman’s compensation, back and neck rehabilitation, running and recreational injuries, orthopedic issues and sports medicine patients and balance disorders. Patients can be seen with or without a referral, coordination of care physicians will be provided during the course of care.
