Culpeper - VA, Delegate Freitas (R-Orange, Madison & Culpeper) has announced today his legislative agenda for the 2018 session, tackling four key issues critical to Virginia’s success. These bills seek to protect taxpayers from over burdensome regulations and taxation, expand workforce development, tackle the growing opioid epidemic, and reform the Commonwealth’s electoral process.
“I am proud to announce the key priorities of my 2018 agenda for the Virginia General Assembly,” Freitas said. “Each of these issues are of vital importance to the 30th District, and the Commonwealth as a whole. Over the last two years I have carried legislation that reduced onerous regulations, returned control of education back to our localities and greatly increased government transparency. I believe that the best way to protect the liberties and opportunities of all of our citizens is to ensure that government stays within its proper constitutional boundaries. The legislation I will bring before the 2018 session, is in line with that belief.”
Delegate Freitas’ agenda for the 2018 session will include legislation covering the following:
Education Reform & Workforce Development
Tackling the Opioid Epidemic
Regulatory & Tax Reform
