SUMMARY:Career Partners/CTEC is looking for a few good mentors for the upcoming school year!
DESCRIPTION:The program connects mentees to mentors on a 1:1 ratio and coordinates a series of events once a month. Outside of that\, students will coordinate with their mentors to gain (approximately) 2 hours per week of on-the-job experience with their mentors over the course of the year. Guidelines for the on-the-job hours and documentation are provided by us to keep things convenient. Completion of the program will give students not just an amazing experience they can add to their resum \, but also credit toward graduation\, and a STEM on their high school diploma. \n\n \n\nIf you're interested in becoming a part of our mentoring program\, we would love to have you join us on July 12th at 7:30 here at CTEC to discuss what your role as a mentor would look like in our program. You can respond directly to me\, and I'll have your name added to our roster of guests. Thank you for your time and consideration\; local professionals being willing to engage with our students truly help bring our classroom lessons to life.
