DESCRIPTION:Dementia Friendly Culpeper is an initiative of Aging Together in partnership with the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce.\n\nMore than 5\,000 people are currently living with dementia or cognitive impairment in our region.  This number is expected to rise 30% by 2025.\n\n\n\nIs your staff able to interact with someone who may have dementia visiting your business?\n\nIf you are a business in Culpeper\, you can become Dementia Friendly with a free\, 30 minute training session for you and your staff.  Being Dementia Friendly means you have a basic understanding of what dementia is and know how to help those living with dementia while they are visiting your organization.\n\n\n\n(and you'll be added to the list of dementia friendly businesses on the aging together website and Chamber directory and get a sticker for your window so people know you've received this free training!)\n\n\n\nRegistration required - agingtogether.org
