Home Instead Senior Care is a VDH licensed provider of in-home personal care and homemaker services. Our mission is to enhance the lives of our clients and their families. Our offices are located in Fredericksburg and Culpeper. We are looking for a highly energetic, motivated, and experienced self starter to fill our Community Liaison opening.
The Community Liaison position is a career changing experience for someone who is passionate about making a difference in our community and the lives of the aging adults we serve. This position will serve both offices engaging in networking activities that promote business development, community involvement, and relationship building with health care and many other community partners. You will be expected to research and pursue new referral sources and to enhance and maintain existing client referral sources. This will include presentations to educate and inform referral sources and the public on a variety of topics related to in-home care, aging issues, and family dynamics. You will research, schedule and successfully execute regular community marketing events including health fairs, senior expos, and other events that promote our services to the general public. The position will involve establishing Advertising and Marketing Plans, website maintenance, and email marketing. Periodic evenings and weekends will be required based on the events or programs scheduled.
The successful individual should possess:
· Four-year college degree (prefer Marketing) or minimum two years sales/business experience.
· Working knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus.
· Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills are a must.
· Must be accessible to both the Culpeper and Fredericksburg areas.
