“Annual Culpeper Community Thanksgiving Service, Thursday Nov 16th
“The Culpeper County Christian Ministerial Association invites everyone to join together for the Annual Culpeper Community Thanksgiving Service on Thursday, November 16th.  The Keynote speaker this year is Dr. Doug Springer, author and founder and president of the national and global disaster relief organization, “Somebody Cares America/International”.  “Somebody Cares®” has become an international model of connecting needs with resources during times of crisis, and has been recognized as one of the most influential ministries of the 21st Century church.   Dr. Springer is considered a Policy Expert by the Heritage Foundation and serves on various boards involving ministries to families, orphans, seniors and the like.  He has authored many books including the timely, “Hope For The Fatherless Generation” and his most recent, “Leadership Awakening:  Foundational Principles for Lasing Success.”   The day will begin with a breakfast from 7 – 9:30 AM hosted and held at the Culpeper United Methodist Church.   A dinner will be held at Shawn’s Smokehouse BBQ in Culpeper, 5 PM ($13 inclusive).   Dr. Springer will speak at both meals on the subject of his latest book on Leadership Awakening.   The annual worship service will be held at the Culpeper Baptist Church at 7 PM, with a time of fellowship afterwards.  The evening offering will benefit The Salvation Army.  For additional information please contact Nancy Sharman at (540) 718-1086.”
