Art @ The Vineyard

Revalation Vineyards is excited to showcase Gayle Ford's artworks from May 1st to June 30th. Gayle was born and raised in New Orleans, where her earliest memories involve drawing and a passion for animals. As a high school student, Gayle earned a scholarship to the McCrady School of Fine and Applied Arts in the French Quarter.

While raising her family, Gayle also pursued her studies through art classes, focusing on illustration, photography, and fine art at community colleges in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. After relocating to Colorado, she worked as an illustrator for Interweave Press. However, the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia called to her, and Gayle moved back, settling in Brightwood.

Gayle is comfortable with oils, watercolors, acrylics, and graphics, making it hard for her to choose which she enjoys the most. Nevertheless, her first love is drawing. Gayle employs these mediums to capture her affection for nature, animals, and intriguing faces.
