The Museum of Culpeper History will offer a guided tour of sites associated with the Civil War Battle of Kelly’s Ford the morning of Saturday, March 15. The tour is offered in conjunction with the anniversary of the Civil War battle waged along the Rappahannock River. The tour will start at 9:30 AM at the C.F. Phelps WMA boat ramp parking lot at 6430 Kellys Ford Road in Remington. The tour is expected to last up to three hours and will include three stops around the battlefield with short walks of up to 3/4 mile at each location. Participants should wear comfortable shoes, bring their own water, and dress appropriately for weather conditions. The registration fee is $15.00 per person.
