Richard G. Colvin  is a Partner and Senior Accountant, of Nicholas, Jones & Co., PLC. in Culpeper, Virginia.    He got his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University and finished his Master of Business Administration – Accounting from University of Mary Washington.  He is a member of AICPA, VSCPA and is a board/committee member of various organizations in the community. He also serves as a general practitioner.    

Heather received a BSBA in Accounting from Bridgewater College located in Bridgewater, VA. She has worked with the company since July of 2011 when she transitioned from her hometown of Louisa to Culpeper County. Her areas of specialty include payroll management and accounting and tax services for estates, trusts and not-for-profit organizations. Also, she has experience in taxation of individuals, partnerships and corporations. Heather is active in the local community and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  She is a member of the AICPA and the VSCPA.

Pat Inman has been preparing taxes since 1994.  In 1996 she became an Enrolled Agent, allowing her to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service for audits, collections and appeals.  In 2011, Pat was named Enrolled Agent of the Year by the Virginia Society of Enrolled Agents.  Other professional affiliations include the National Association of Enrolled Agents, National Society of Tax Practitioners and the Culpeper Business Women.

David M. Jones is the Managing and A & A partner in the certified public accounting firm of Nicholas, Jones & Co., PLC, in Culpeper, Virginia.  He also serves as a general practitioner.     

Mariam K. Virag, CPA, Senior Manager, Taxation, joined the Firm in October, 2015.  She has  over 20 years of experience, most of which have been in public accounting as a general practitioner with an emphasis on small business taxation preparation and consulting (including QuickBooks assistance) for sole proprietors, partnerships, corporations and not-for-profit entities. She also provides tax preparation and accounting services to individuals, trusts & estates.  In addition to her public accounting career, Mariam also has several years experience in government contracting and manufacturing.  This corporate experience allows her to more fully understand her business clients as they strive to produce reliable accounting reports, meet the demands of the current economy and manage tax obligations. Mariam has lived in Culpeper County with her family for eighteen plus years and is active in the local community.
