After turning onto Laurel Valley, go straight, then get in the right lane. At the white stope line, turn right. Go up a small incline and then to our blue building located at the bottom of the hill.
About Us
Piedmont Area Soap Box Derby is located in Culpeper, VA. Our track, Paul Bates Raceway, is considered one of the fastest on the East Coast! We love having the children from our surrounding counties race with us in our June Local Derby. Also, we are excited to be able to offer Rally racing at our track which is open to our Local Racers and Racers from outside our area! We have cars that can be loaned to interested potential racers between the ages of 7 and 20.
