
Accepting Grant Applications from Community Non-Profits
UVA Health invites non-profit organizations in our communities to submit grant applications from March 10 - April 11. Grants will be awarded to organizations that address identified Community Health Needs such as mental health/behavioral health/substance use, chronic disease, and access to care.
Grant requests must align with the mission, vision, and values of UVA Health. Non-profits must be a registered Section 501(C)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Grant amounts will begin at $2,500 with a planned distribution of June 2025. Grants are open to organizations that serve Culpeper County, Orange County, Madison County and Rappahannock County.
Healthy Spark Grants
Healthy Spark Grants are for organizations that focus on the needs outlined in our CHNA, as well as on Social Determinants of Health, non medical factors that influence a person’s health and well-being, such as economic stability, access to healthcare, healthy lifestyle, and access to healthy food and physical activity opportunities. Healthy Spark Grants will be for $2,500 or for $5,000.
Community Strong Wellness Grants
Community Strong Grants are larger grants offered to organizations we have partnered with for more than two years, focus on needs outlined in our CHNA, as well as community benefit significant identified health needs, such as mental health, behavioral health, chronic disease, and access to care.
Community Strong Wellness Grants will be for $25,000.
Organizations are invited to apply for one type of grant.
