Lauren Antley Wynn Appointed New Executive Director of Windmore Foundation for the Arts

Windmore Foundation for the Arts is excited to announce the appointment of Lauren Antley Wynn as its new Executive Director.

Wynn possesses a robust background in leadership, fundraising and marketing. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Organizational Studies from Bay Path University and a professional certificate in Nonprofit Management. With additional studies in theater and music performance from Barton College, Wynn brings a unique perspective to her role, blending her experiences as both an artist and a patron of the arts with her commitment to building a vibrant arts community that makes the arts accessible to all. This passion is what led Wynn to join the Windmore Board in 2022 where she made significant contributions as the Secretary, Chair of the Board Nominating and Membership Committee, and as a volunteer grants writer.

According to Amanda Reck, President of the Windmore Board of Directors, the organization initiated a nation-wide search for a new Executive Director and evaluated numerous applicants from diverse backgrounds; however, it quickly became evident to the committee that the most suitable candidate was already within the organization.

“At the conclusion of the search, it was clear that we had the best candidate right here in Lauren,” says Reck. “We are thrilled to welcome her as our Executive Director. Her vision for our future is going to provide great momentum as we celebrate our 40th anniversary. We expect nothing but great things ahead!”

"I am honored and excited to step into this role," said Wynn. "For nearly forty years, the Windmore Foundation for the Arts has been a source of creativity and cultural enrichment in our community. I look forward to working with our dedicated team and supporters to expand our programs, enhance our impact, and create a space that will serve as the heart of our community’s cultural and artistic expression for generations to come."
