Culpeper Survivors and Advocateds Unite for the Nation's Largest Lung Cancer Awareness Event: Shine a Light on Lung Cancer
In recognition of Lung Cancer Awareness Month this November, UVA Health Outpatient Imaging Culpeper, in partnership with GO2 for Lung Cancer, will host Shine a Light on Lung Cancer flashlight vigil. This annual, free community event is dedicated to raising awareness, providing hope, offering support, and honoring those impacted by lung cancer.
Now in its 16th year, “Shine a Light on Lung Cancer” will take place at more than 200 healthcare facilities nationwide. Join us on November 15th from 6:30 pm – 7:30pm at UVA Health Outpatient Imaging Culpeper (509 South Main Street, Culpeper, VA 22701) as we come together to honor the lung cancer community in our area.
Community members are invited to attend and help us "Shine a Light" in support. Flashlights will be offered to the first 40 attendees. Remember, if you have lungs, you can get lung cancer—let’s raise awareness together.
