Holiday Lights Driving Tour
Did you know that Culpeper Parks & Recreation put together a Holiday Light Driving Tour Map! There are 23 homes on this 1st Annual Driving Tour. Click here for the map, then grab your best PJ’s, holiday music, and friends/family and go for a drive to look at all the amazing lights! Follow us on Facebook so that you can VOTE for your favorite display.

Culpeper County Parks & Recreation is excited to announce that registration for Winter 2025 opens Friday, January 3, 2025!
Did you know?? Get ready for registration by adding programs to your wish list! Simply log in to your account on ActiveNet and click the heart for any program you are interested in! This will create a "favorites" list so you can easily keep track of when your favorite programs are opening for registration!
Check out just a small sampling of Winter 2025 programs available for registration below:
Horseback Riding-Intro to Riding I & Leadline I Join Woodruff Shires Riding School for Intro to Riding and Leadline classes to beat the winter blues! Intro to Riding classes are open to ages 8-16 and leadline classes are open to ages 4-7.
Basketball Classes: Join instructor, Quintin Noakes for CCPR's winter youth basketball classes on Wednesday evenings. Sign up for January, February, and March sessions! Tiny Tots (Ages 4-5), Little Dribblers (Ages 6-7), Shooting Stars (Ages 8-10).
Zumba Gold: Dance at your own pace! Zumba Gold is a lower-intensity version of the typical Zumba class and was designed for people of all ages: older active seniors, beginning Zumba students, an those who want to get back into shape. Class meets on Tuesday evenings. Classes in January, February, and March!
Special Olympics Young Athletes Program: Free early childhood play program for children with and without intellectual disabilities, ages two through seven years old. The young athletes program introduces basic sport skills, such as running, kicking, and throwing to young children. Young athletes provides children of all abilities the same opportunities to advance in developmental milestones.
Beginner's Spray Paint Art: Mars in the Milky way-Join local artist, Liam Gram, as he introduces you to the world of spray paint! This class is beginner-friendly and perfect for ages 12-seniors. Staged in an outdoor setting, you will have your own workshop to create your own masterpiece of the planet Mars and the Milkyway Galaxy around it. Register here!
Pickleball: Join the instructors of the Culpeper Pickleball Club for several pickleball programs this winter at the Culpeper County Fieldhouse! Whether you are just getting the hang of the game with Pickleball 101 and 102, getting into some friendly competition with both DUPR and non-DUPR events, or you are fine tuning your skills with the Double's Strategy Clinic or the Third Shot Drop Clinic, Culpeper County Parks & Recreation has something for all levels of picklers! Need new certification for a job or just simply want to know how to help out in the case of an emergency? CCPR also has CPR & AED Certification, First Aid Training, and even Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) programs!

Financial Aid

The secondary entrance on Cyclone Way is CLOSED!!!! You need to use the MAIN entrance on Jonas Road to access the Culpeper Sports Complex, Bright Spot Playground and the Culpeper County Fieldhouse.
