North Blue Ridge Ave Sidewalk Installation

The Town of Culpeper Public Works Department has scheduled a contractor to install concrete curb and sidewalk on N Blue Ridge Ave from 522 to W Culpeper St. The contractor will begin operations on Monday, October 7th, and is projected to be completed by Friday, October 18th.

The installation operation will consist of saw cutting the existing edge of pavement then forming and pouring new concrete curbs and sidewalks. Weather permitting, the hours of operation will be from 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM. A safety work zone will require temporary flagging operations and lane closures on southbound Blue Ridge Ave.

Motorists should expect delays and take alternate routes if possible and are asked to pay attention to changing conditions within the work zone.
