The Town of Culpeper Public Works Department has scheduled a contractor to mill and overlay N Blue Ridge Ave from W. Culpeper St. to the Rte. 522 roundabout. The contractor will begin the operation on Friday, November 1st, and is projected to complete the operation on Tuesday, November 5th. No work will be performed over the weekend. 
  
The mill and overlay operation will consist of milling the existing asphalt and placing new asphalt. Weather permitting, the hours of operation will be from 7:30 AM until 4:30 PM. A safety work zone will require intermittent flagging operations and street closures from W. Culpeper St. to the Rte. 522 roundabout. 
 
The entrance to Yowell Meadow Park from Blue Ridge Ave. will be limited on November 4th  and November 5th. Access to the park from Gardner St. is recommended. 
  
Motorists should expect delays and take alternate routes if possible and are asked to pay attention to changing conditions within the work zone.
