The Town of Culpeper Public Works Department has scheduled a contractor to trench widen N Blue Ridge Ave from W. Edmondson St. to the Rte. 522 roundabout. The contractor will perform the operation on Thursday, October 31st. 
  
The trench widening operation will consist of deep milling along the northbound shoulder and installing base stone and asphalt. Weather permitting, the hours of operation will be from 7:30 AM until 4:30 PM. A safety work zone will require the northbound lane to be closed from W. Cameron St. to Rte. 522.  
 
Yowell Meadow Park will be accessible from the southbound lane. 
  
Motorists should expect delays and take alternate routes if possible and are asked to pay attention to changing conditions within the work zone.
