Spring 2025 Culpeper Resource Fair

Hello Friends and Happy New Year!

We are now recruiting volunteers for the CIC Spring 2025 Culpeper Resource Fair, which will take place on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 1p-5p at The Daniel Technology Center at Germanna Community College in Culpeper, Virginia!

The Culpeper Resource Fair provides small businesses and entrepreneurs from Culpeper and surrounding communities with complimentary access to essential resources. This is a unique opportunity to offer your expertise and insights to help small business owners navigate challenges and achieve success.If you are unable to attend, please forward to a professional who may be interested (a comprehensive list of additional needs are below).

We are seeking volunteer consultants who can provide one-on-one consultations with entrepreneurs. These sessions will allow small business owners to address specific questions or situations they are facing in their ventures.

How You Can Contribute
If you would like to join as a volunteer consultant, please respond at your earliest convenience. When replying, kindly share the following:

Confirmation of your availability to participate.
Your area of expertise or preferred topics for meeting with small business owners.
We will collect details in advance from the entrepreneurs, such as the topics they wish to discuss, ensuring you have ample time to prepare.

Volunteer Expectations
Format: You will meet with entrepreneurs for 30-minute sessions.
Scheduling: Entrepreneurs will schedule their appointments several weeks before the event, including a brief description of their questions or concerns. A finalized schedule will be provided to you approximately one week before the event.

Set-Up: Arrive prior to your first appointment. While not required, you may bring a tablecloth, business cards, a laptop, or any resources needed to address the entrepreneurs’ questions.
Important Note: This is a consulting-focused event. It is not a marketing or tabling event, though you may share information about your business during your consultations.
