CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY

The Town of Culpeper Light & Power Department will be conducting work on electrical equipment located between Nalles Mill Road and Ira Hoffman Lane. This equipment provides electricity to multiple businesses in the area. While no power outages are anticipated during the construction operation, customers may experience a brief, momentary power interruption or “blink.” To minimize any potential disruption, the work will be scheduled primarily during off-hours for almost all businesses.

The work will begin Friday October 9th, 2026 at 4:30am and is expected to last until 6:30am the same day.

In the case of a major weather event, this operation will be rescheduled.

 Motorists are asked to pay attention to changing conditions around the work zone.
