How does child care affect your workforce? Share your input by November 13

Dear Local Business Leader,

Child care challenges can affect employers’ ability to recruit and retain staff—and employees’ ability to show up and succeed at work.

Foundation First, the lead organization for Ready Region North Central, is inviting local employers to participate in the Virginia Business Roundtable for Early Education (VBREE) initiative. Led statewide by the Virginia Early Childhood Foundation, VBREE brings business and early childhood partners together to explore child care solutions that strengthen the workforce and local economy.

Through our employer survey, we hope to learn:

  • How child care challenges affect your employees and business operations.

  • What child care supports, if any, your organization currently offers.

  • Your interest in exploring employer-supported child care solutions with regional partners.

Please take 15-20 minutes to complete the survey by November 13:A Survey to Inform Solutions to Virginia's Labor Shortage – Fill out form

We welcome input from employers of all sizes and industries, whether or not you currently offer child care benefits. Your perspective will help shape regional priorities and practical solutions.

Thank you for sharing your experience and helping strengthen our region’s workforce.
