Fauquier Health Earns Blue Distinction ® Center’s+ Designation for Excellence in Knee and Hip Replacement Surgery

WARRENTON, VIRGINIA, October 13, 2025 – Fauquier Health has been named a Blue Distinction Center+ for Knee and Hip Replacement Surgery by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. The Blue Distinction Center Program identifies hospitals that demonstrate expertise in patient safety and deliver better health outcomes. Quality assessments are based on objective measures developed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield with input from the medical community.

The designation further recognizes facilities that offer more affordable care. The Blue Distinction Center+ designation program provides access to high-quality and affordable care, assuring that providers are committed to protecting the health and safety of each patient by using evidence-based orthopedic and surgical healthcare practices.
