This Town Hall is designed to provide an open, transparent discussion about what ALPR technology does and just as importantly, what it does not do.

- How we balance effective policing with privacy, transparency, and constitutional rights.
- How ALPRs are used in Culpeper to help solve crimes and protect our community.
- Virginia law (2.2-5517) and Virginia and Federal court rulings on ALPRs.
- Real-world examples of how ALPRs have been used here in Culpeper.
- The Culpeper Police Department's policies governing ALPR use.
