Town of Culpeper Lifts Snow Emergency Route Plan

Road conditions have improved, and Public Works crews have completed snow removal operations within the Snow Emergency Routes. Normal parking and traffic regulations will resume at 8:00 a.m. on January 29, 2026.
The Town thanks residents and visitors for their cooperation during the snow event and encourages motorists to continue using caution in areas where residual snow or ice may remain.
Snow Emergency Route restrictions for the roadways listed below will no longer be in effect as of 8:00 a.m. on January 29, 2026.
• James Madison Highway (Business U.S. 29 north)
• Main Street
• Madison Road (Business U.S. Route 29 south)
• Germanna Highway (State Route 3)
• Sperryville Pike (U.S. Route 522)/West Evans
• Orange Road (U.S. Route 15)
• Old Rixeyville Road
• Laurel Street
• Sunset Lane
• East Piedmont Street from N. Main St to Old Brandy Road
• Old Brandy Road
• Ira Hoffman Lane
• East and West Davis Streets
• Old Fredericksburg Road
