West Evans Street
Roadway Improvements – Mill and Overlay
The Town of Culpeper Public Works Department has scheduled a contractor to mill and overlay
on West Evans Street from Main St to West St.
The contractor will begin operations on Wednesday, March 18th, and is projected to complete
the operation on Wednesday, March 25th, weather permitting. No work will take place over the
weekend. The hours of operation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The safety work zone will
require temporary flagging operations and intermittent street closures.
Drivers and pedestrians should stay alert to changing conditions in the work zones and
consider using alternate routes.
