2020 Culpeper Chambers Valor Awards

The Culpeper Chamber of Commerce's Valor Awards event is to recognize the efforts of Culpeper County's public safety personnel. These individuals go above and beyond the call of duty every day and put their lives on the line for our community. This is our way of saying "Thank You".

This event is open to the entire community!

Join us for the evening and show your support to our local Firefighters, EMTs and Police departments. This is to include: Brandy Station Volunteer Fire Department, Culpeper County Animal Control, Culpeper County Volunteer Fire Department, Culpeper County Volunteer Rescue Squad, Culpeper Office of Emergency Services, Little Fork Volunteer Fire & Rescue Squad, Reva Volunteer Fire & Rescue company, Rapidan Volunteer Fire Department, Richardsville Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue Squad, Salem Volunteer Fire & Rescue, E911 Dispatch, Culpeper Town Police, Culpeper County Sheriff?s Office, and Virginia State Police. 

Dinner, dessert, program and awards ceremony!
The ceremony will take place in two parts.  The first part of the program is an opportunity to highlight each company and station.  Each organization will receive an appreciation award for their service to the Culpeper community. 
Following the appreciation portion of the program, the Chamber will give the Valor Awards.  These awards will be given to individuals or teams for a specific act of extraordinary bravery and exceptional valor while in the line of duty.  It is not the intent of this meritorious award to be given to an entire department/agency/squad. This award should be reserved for an individual or team that has gone above and beyond the normal duties on a specific incident.
