Since 1980, Hospice of the Piedmont has been leading families in Virginia through the experience of serious illness and death. They’re a community based nonprofit—that means they offer the broadest range of services to the widest number of people possible, no matter what it takes.

Their calling extends far beyond caring for patients. Death affects spouses and children, friends and neighbors, and the community at large. So, they offer grief and bereavement services to everyone, whether they’ve used their hospice services or not. It’s challenging work that takes a strong, passionate, diverse team.

They’re pioneering a new way of thinking about what it means to live and die, and they’d love to talk with you about it.
