Historic Venue: Liberty Hall is the ancestral home of Colonel John Green, who fought with Lafayette at Brandywine and wintered at Valley Forge. In 1825, the property was home to Moses Green, Virginia's Adjutant General during the War of 1812 and Lafayette's host during his Farewell Tour. It is believed that Lafayette passed by Liberty Hall on his way to Jeffersonton-perhaps even stopping for a cup of coffee.
