This August marks the 5th anniversary of Be A Culpeper Local Week!
Launched in 2022 as a celebration of Culpeper small businesses, the event has grown into a 9 day, community celebration.
Throughout the week, businesses are highlighted on the Be A Culpeper Local Facebook page, allowing residents to discover new businesses or re-introducing them to old favorites.
Residents are encouraged to shop and support businesses while earning branded swag that shows their community pride. Businesses are provided with free canvas totes to give out with purchases and punchcards customers can use to earn a limited edition t-shirt, designed and voted on by the community.
Free for businesses to participate in, the 2025 event recorded more than 6,400 transactions over 9 days, with more than 380 residents earning their exclusive
t-shirt.
Be A Culpeper Local Week is our weeklong celebration of small businesses that make Culpeper one-of-a-kind. The event is free for businesses to participate in. Register below and our department will supply you with all event materials including event punchcards and stickers (for customers to earn a limited edition t-shirt), canvas totes for customer purchases, and an FAQ for your staff.
Each participating business will be highlighted on social media and our website.
