A Slower Kind of Trip Takes Shape in Culpeper

Most people work hard building a life they can be proud of. Somewhere along the way they end up exhausted, stressed, and needing a reminder of who they are. Olivia and Nate kept noticing it in themselves and in the people around them.

So the Culpeper couple began shaping a different kind of trip. One that stays put long enough to feel a place, leaves room in the day, and does not try to cover too much ground.

The result is Stone, Cypress and the Sea, a small private journey to Greece planned for September and October, 2027. The group will base in the old port town of Nafplio before crossing to the island of Naxos, and a day or two in Athens. Days are meant to unfold slowly with long meals, open afternoons, a few shared experiences, and plenty of time that belongs to no one but the traveler.

Olivia, who runs Hidden Alleys Luxury, puts it simply: “We’re tired. We’re busy. Sometimes what we need is quiet, a good view, and the chance to remember that life is meant to be enjoyed as well as worked for.”

The group is limited to twenty people. Olivia and Nate will host.
