Bloom & Berry Natural Market Celebrates Grand Opening in Downtown Culpeper

CULPEPER, Va. – The Culpeper Chamber of Commerce and Culpeper Renaissance, Inc. (CRI) recently joined community members, local leaders, and supporters to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of Bloom & Berry Natural Market, located at 404 South Main Street in Downtown Culpeper.

Owned by Aaron and Jennifer Zemkowski, Bloom & Berry Natural Market was created with a mission to provide fresh, local, organic, and clean foods to the community while making healthy living more accessible for local families.

During the ceremony, Amy Frazier, President & CEO of the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce, welcomed attendees and highlighted the entrepreneurial journey that led to the opening of the new business.

"Owners Aaron and Jennifer are both graduates of the Community Investment Collaborative's 16-week entrepreneurial course, where they strengthened their vision that has now become Bloom & Berry's physical store," Frazier said. "Their business was born from a deeply personal journey and passion for creating healthy products that they could trust for their own family's well-being."

Frazier also praised the couple's commitment to Downtown Culpeper and the positive impact their business will have on the community.

"We're very excited to welcome them to Downtown Culpeper, and we're grateful for the thoughtfulness they have put into this space, their entrepreneurial spirit, and their commitment to helping others live healthier lives," she said.

Representing Culpeper Renaissance, Inc., Executive Director Jessica Jenkins welcomed Bloom & Berry to the downtown business community and encouraged residents to support the new market.

"We are so excited to have you join Downtown Culpeper," Jenkins said. "This is a great spot."

Jennifer Zemkowski shared the personal story that inspired the creation of Bloom & Berry Natural Market.

What began as a farmers market business offering elderberry syrups, tinctures, teas, and wellness products evolved after a health diagnosis changed the way her family viewed food and ingredients.

"We decided that Culpeper needed a place where shoppers know they can get safe foods and clean products and simple ingredients," Zemkowski said. "Bloom & Berry is here to serve the community by providing fresh, local, organic, clean foods that nourish the body and soul."

She thanked family members, business partners, community supporters, and local organizations that helped make the vision a reality.

Following the remarks, representatives from the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce and Culpeper Renaissance joined the Zemkowski family for an official ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of the market.
