Hospice of the Piedmont Hosts “Death Over Drafts” at Prince Michel Vineyard and Winery
Leon, VA — Hospice of the Piedmont invites community members to a unique and engaging evening of conversation and connection at Death Over Drafts, taking place on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Prince Michel Vineyard and Winery (154 Winery Lane, Leon, VA).
Death Over Drafts offers a welcoming and relaxed environment where participants can gather to talk openly about death and the full cycle of life. Far from a somber event, the evening is designed to foster meaningful dialogue, storytelling, and community connection in a comfortable setting.
Leading the discussion is Beth Eck, Director of End of Life Doula Services at Hospice of the Piedmont, who will guide attendees through thoughtful conversation aimed at making discussions around death more approachable and less intimidating.
Admission to the event is free, with beverages available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to come as they are, grab a drink, and join in an open, supportive dialogue about living, dying, and everything in between.
