Make Your Voice Heard in Rappahannock Electric Cooperative’s Board of Director Elections

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — Rappahannock Electric Cooperative (REC) member-owners now have the opportunity to participate in the Cooperative’s 2026 Director Elections. The proxy designation period is now open and all member-owners are asked to submit proxy designations by July 31, 2026.

Three seats on REC’s Board of Directors will be elected during the virtual Annual Meeting on Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. The Board helps guide the Cooperative’s future and represents the interests of the members who own REC.

Members have multiple ways to participate in the election:

Assign your vote before the meeting by completing a Proxy Designation Form. Forms will be mailed to all members. Check your mail in early July.
Complete the online proxy designation form using the email received if REC has a valid email on file. Or log in to your MyREC SmartHub account and click Vote Now.
Completed proxy forms must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 31.

If you do not plan to register to attend the online meeting live, REC encourages you to assign your vote in advance through the proxy designation form.
