Culpeper Chamber of Commerce Invites Community to Submit Award Nominations for 112th Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet

The Culpeper Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for its 112th Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet, to be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026. This annual celebration recognizes the people, businesses, and organizations that make a lasting impact in the Culpeper community.

Anyone in the community may nominate. Chamber membership is not required to submit a nomination, be nominated, or receive an award.

Nominations are currently being accepted in the following categories:

• Young Professional
• Small Business
• Large Business
• New Business
• Nonprofit
• Business & Education Partnership
• L.B. Henretty Outstanding Citizen, the Chamber’s most prestigious individual honor

These awards are based on merit, not popularity. The Chamber encourages nominators to submit thoughtful, detailed nominations that clearly explain why a nominee is deserving of recognition. Strong nominations that speak to impact, leadership, and service are key.

Nominations are open through September 15, 2026, and can be submitted online at:

The website includes detailed award descriptions and criteria to help nominators prepare a complete and compelling submission.

All nominations are reviewed by the Banquet Awards Committee, which includes previous award recipients, community members unaffiliated with the Chamber, the current Board Chair, and a member of the Banquet Planning Committee. Each nominee is evaluated using a consistent scoring process based on established criteria.

The Culpeper Chamber of Commerce encourages the community to take part in recognizing excellence and celebrating those who help Culpeper thrive.
