News Release: Two Places, Two Rhythms: Nafplio and Naxos

Culpeper, VA — A Culpeper couple is putting together a small hosted trip to Greece for 2027, and they are building it around two very different corners of the country.

Olivia and Nate Edwards, founders of Hidden Alleys Luxury, plan to take no more than twenty travelers from Nafplio on the mainland to the island of Naxos, with a short stop in Athens. They are calling the journey Stone, Cypress and the Sea.

Nafplio is the first chapter. Once the capital of modern Greece, it is a compact port town of cobbled streets, a hillside fortress, and cafés that reward a slow morning. Naxos comes next. Larger, more open, and shaped by village squares and long beaches, it runs on island time. Olivia and Nate also mentioned that the crossing between the two is part of the trip, not just a way to get from one hotel to the next.

Olivia and Nate will travel with the group. Hidden Alleys Luxury, their Culpeper company, has spent the last few years planning destination weddings, honeymoons, and custom trips. Stone, Cypress and the Sea grew out of that work. It is a small hosted journey for people who would rather linger than rush from stop to stop.
