Screaming Goats Farm & Brewery Celebrates Ribbon Cutting in Amissville

AMISSVILLE, Va. – The Culpeper Chamber of Commerce recently joined community members, business leaders, family, and friends to celebrate the ribbon cutting for Screaming Goats Farm & Brewery, a family-owned business located in Amissville.

The event marked an important milestone for owners Chad and Ashley Pessini, whose vision for the farm and brewery began a couple of years ago and has grown into a popular local destination.

Representing the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce, Sarah Langland welcomed attendees and recognized the Pessinis' investment in the community.

"We're happy to be here today to celebrate Screaming Goats Farm & Brewery," Langland said. "We appreciate the investment they have made in our community and look forward to getting to know their team and watching their business continue to grow."

Following the Chamber's remarks, Chad Pessini thanked attendees for their support and reflected on the journey that led to the creation of the business.

"As you can see, it's a family operation here, husband and wife, kids, the whole nine," Pessini said. "First and foremost, I just want to say thank you to everybody who came today. It means a tremendous amount to me, my wife, my daughter, and everybody here."

Pessini shared that the brewery began as a dream that took shape over the last three years.

"This sort of started as a dream three years ago," he said. "The fact that it's now here in fruition and a reality is wild."

He also expressed appreciation for the community members, neighbors, and customers who have supported the business since it opened.

"We're just so thankful for everybody that's come out and supported us since the day that we opened," Pessini said. "It means the world to us, and we look forward to really being a massive part of this community."

Following the remarks, attendees gathered for the ceremonial ribbon cutting and enjoyed an afternoon of fellowship, food, and celebration.
