Sunset Lane and Redbud Street Roadway Improvements

The Town of Culpeper Public Works Department has scheduled a contractor to mill and overlay 
on Redbud Street from Sunset Lane to Laurel Street. And install pavement markings on Sunset 
Lane from Madison Road to Orange Road.

The contractors will begin operations on Monday, April 20th, and is projected to complete the 
operation on Tuesday, April 21st, weather permitting. The hours of operation will be from 8:30
a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The safety work zone will require temporary flagging operations and 
intermittent street closures.

Drivers and pedestrians should stay alert to changing conditions in the work zones and 
consider using alternate routes.
