Unidirectional Flushing
Mountain Run, Lake Culpeper, and Westover Areas

The Town of Culpeper Public Works Department will perform unidirectional flushing (UDF) of the water distribution system in the Mountain Run, Lake Culpeper, and Westover Areas, beginning Wednesday, 10/21 through Friday, 10/30, weather permitting. Flushing crews will be working weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

A safety workzone will be in place during operations. Motorists are asked to pay attention to changing roadway conditions and drive slowly around utility work zones.

Some discoloration of water should be expected, but the condition should be temporary. Should water discoloration persist, please call the Public Works Department at (540) 825-0285.
