UVA Health Hosts 2nd Annual Peanut Butter Drive with ABC7 On Your Side, Feeding the DMV Event  

WHAT: 
2nd Annual - Feeding The DMV Peanut Butter Drive 
UVA Health invites the community to help “feed our neighbors, one jar at a time” by donating peanut butter and jelly to support families facing food insecurity. 

WHEN: 
May 8, 2026 
5:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., live TV promos between 5:00 – 7:00 a.m. 

WHERE: 
UVA Health Prince William Medical Center (Main Parking Lot, adjacent Sudley Rd entrance) 

WHO: 

·       UVA Health  

·       ABC 7 On Your Side  

·       Mayor of Manassas Michelle Davis-Younger 

·       Medical center leaders and community members  

DETAILS: 
UVA Health is partnering with ABC7 On Your Side for the 2026 Feeding the DMV campaign to collect peanut butter and jelly for families in need. Donations will benefit the Capital Area Food Bank, serving communities in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, in an effort to eliminate childhood hunger year-round.

Community members can also contribute at additional UVA Health locations: 

·       UVA Health Haymarket Medical Center (benefiting Feeding the DMV) 

·       UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center (benefiting Culpeper Food Closet)  

·       UVA Health Medical Park Warrenton and Piedmont Family Medicine Warrenton (benefiting Fauquier FISH Food Pantry)  

All four locations will accept donations leading up to May 8. On event day, ABC 7 will be live onsite collecting donations at UVA Health Prince William Medical Center.
