Water Valve Installation - South East Street and US Avenue Intersection

The Town Public Works will be installing 2 water valves on Wednesday, December 17th, and Thursday, December 18th. Weather permitting, the work hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

The valve installation will involve excavating portions of the roadway to access the existing water main at the intersection of South East Street and U.S. Avenue. A safety work zone will require South East St to be closed at the U.S. Avenue intersection. There will be a detour installed to redirect through traffic.

Motorists should expect delays on this corridor and will be required to take alternate routes as available. Motorists and pedestrians are asked to pay attention to changing conditions within the work zone.
