Fredericksburg, Va. — Winter Storm Fern has moved through Rappahannock Electric Cooperative’s service territory with limited impacts. FUNDING AVAILABLE TO NONPROFITS THROUGH RAPPAHANNOCK ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE'S THE POWER OF CHANGE Fredericksburg, Va. — Rappahannock Electric Cooperative (REC) invites nonprofit organizations to apply for funding from the Cooperative’s The Power of Change program. Through The Power of Change, REC members give voluntarily to support nonprofits that support those in need. In 2025, The Power of Change provided more than $237,000 to 71 nonprofits that provided services across twenty-two counties in Viriginia.
