Community Charity Car Wash on July 11 to Benefit Operation First Response

Culpeper, VA — Community members are invited to roll through for a great cause at the upcoming Charity Car Wash on Saturday, July 11th from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Culpeper Car Wash. A rain date has been scheduled for July 18th.

This fun, summer event will support Operation First Response (OFR), a nonprofit organization providing vital financial and emotional assistance to wounded service members, disabled veterans, first responders, and their families nationwide.

During the event, volunteers will be on site lending a helping hand—scrubbing tires, drying vehicles, and showing their community spirit—while a portion of all car wash proceeds will be donated directly to Operation First Response.

Since 2004, OFR has supported tens of thousands of families facing hardship by helping with essential expenses including housing, utilities, transportation, groceries, and travel related to medical care and recovery.

“What better way to enjoy a summer day than to go through a car wash and support an organization that has a major positive impact on our community,” said Megan King, Young Professionals Chair.

The Charity Car Wash offers a simple way for residents to give back—just by keeping their cars clean.
