Nick has been married to his high school sweetheart, Tina Freitas, for 18 years. They have three children, Lillyana (15), Luke (12) and Alexandria (10).
Nick joined the army after graduating high school, serving as an infantryman in the 82nd Airborne and 25th Light Infantry Division. Following September 11th, Nick volunteered for US Special Forces (Green Berets). Nick would serve two combat tours in Iraq with ODA 1333 of 1st Special Forces Group.
In 2015, Nick was elected to the House of Delegates representing the 30th District (Orange, Madison & Culpeper). Nick is known for his “liberty focused legislation” and his passionate floor speeches advocating for individual liberty, free markets, equal protection before the law and support or our men and women in uniform.
Nick has attained an impressive legislative record achieving “A” ratings from the NRA, Family Foundation, Virginia Tea Party Patriots, American Conservative Union, Americans for Prosperity and others.
